ESSER III

The ARP ESSER III grant program is authorized in the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP), signed into law in March 2021. The intent and purpose of ARP of 2021, ESSER III funding is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on students.

 

PBTISD was awarded an allocation of $5,793,411
The following areas were targeted for this one-time funding:
  • Programs and activities to support College and Career Readiness and Career Technical Education 
  • Mitigating Learning Loss for all students
  • Training and professional development for staff
  • Technology resources to enhance online learning for all students
  • School facility improvements to mitigate environmental health hazards and support student health needs
  • Evidence-based activities to address learning gaps for students

In an effort to increase parental and family engagement and support two-way communication, Pecos-Barstow-Toyah ISD will provide, to the extent practicable, the Campus Improvement Plan, the Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and any other pertinent information in a language and format understood by parents and the public.
