On July 14, the PBTISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring of Mark Dominguez as the new principal of Pecos Kindergarten and Austin Elementary.
Born and raised in West Texas, Dominguez joins PBTISD from Buena Vista ISD where he has served as Superintendent of Schools since 2012. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, coach, school administrator, and athletic director.
“We are excited to welcome Mr. Dominguez to PBTISD” said Brent Jaco, Superintendent of Schools. “He brings a lot of great educational and leadership experience and will be an asset to our District.”
Dominguez obtained both his Bachelor’s and Masters degrees from Sul Ross State University.
