Information about the COVID-19 Vaccine
The COVID-19 vaccine is NOT REQUIRED for students to return to school this fall.
However, if your child is 12 years or older, the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is recommending the Pfizer vaccine be used. Currently, the Reeves County Hospital District hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics every Thursday from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. They ask you to bring a form of ID like a shot record or birth certificate.
