Yes, All PBTISD Police Officers are commissioned peace officers licensed by the State of Texas. They have full arrest powers and authority.

Can PBTISD Police Officers make arrests off campus?

Yes, PBTISD Police officers can arrest offenders of the law both on and off campus.

Can a PBTISD Police Officer issue me a traffic ticket?

Yes, PBTISD Police Officers are authorized to issue traffic citations. We have officers that monitor traffic violations.

What court do I go to if I get a ticket from a PBTISD police Officer?
If you receive a ticket from a PBTISD Police Officer, you will be required to appear in the appropriate Justice of the Peace Court.

What happens if I don't pay my ticket?
If you do not appear in court or pay for fine, a warrant for your arrest may be issued by the court.

How do I report an incident to the PBTISD Police Department?

To report an incident occurring on school property or involving students, call the PBTISD Police Department @(432) 447-7202, Monday thru Friday. On call Police Officer after normal hours (5:00 pm - 7:00 am) Monday thru Friday and weekends (Saturday & Sunday) 24 hrs a day, Cell# (432)940-6271. Be prepared to give as much of the following information as possible!
